Carolina Diaz was born on August 18, 1989 in Chicago. Growing up with three older brothers and parents who always supported her, she received constant guidance in life. Carolina studied at Gallistel Language Academy from kindergarten to eighth grade in her neighborhood, The East Side. She received awards that included Perfect Attendance, B Honor Roll, A Honor Roll, and Student of the month throughout her primary education.
In an effort to save money, Carolina’s parents sent her to a local public high school, George Washington High School. During high school she participated in many activities including dancing, sewing, soccer, was a part of the National Honors Society, Club Americas, and was President of Fashion Society. She fell in the top 10% of her class of over 300 students with a GPA of 3.7/4.0.
After graduation, Carolina decided to pursue a career in Fashion Design and began school at The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. After two quarters she found that she prefered to study Fashion Management and Marketing. Carolina is currently the Marketing Director for Hasana, a subsidiary of The Apareció Foundation.
